New Drivers Have To Pay A Fortune For Car Insurance
All new drivers are questioning on why the car insurance price is so high for them. Especially for people who are under 25 years of age the price just seems to shoot up, sometimes car insurance price is double the price of their car. This is totally crazy. My sister who is 22 recently passed her driving test, she bought a used car from used cars company. The car she bought was £2,000 and the car insurance companies gave her the price of £3,500 to insure the car. That is outrageous.
She passed the driving test just days after her 22nd birthday and was looking forward to driving. Of course she got the money from our dad to help her out and she bought an used Volkswagen car. The car was 2002 model and only did 60,000 miles. We had the car checked by our uncle who is a mechanic before buying the car. After the car was paid for she went on the Internet straight away and started looking for low price insurance, that’s how excited she was. It was cheap searching for it to be honest the results shocked us. We tried comparing websites even phoned different insurance companies but none gave us a reasonable quote.
Our dad drives Audi Q5 and his car insurance is only 900 pounds compare to my sister’s minimum quotation that came upto £3,500. I am not sure why the insurance for new drivers are so high. My dad’s brother drives an Audi TT Roadster 2.Quattro Tdi sport which cost him approximately £30,000 and the insurance for that car is just £2,000. Shouldn’t it be expensive car expensive insurance?. I think these car insurance companies shouldn’t charge people under 25 years of age that much. Thereare several good drivers out there who pay stupid amount of money for car insurance.
What do you people think? Am I right?? Don’t you think the car insurance is sky high for new drivers? What would you suggest the insurance companies to do? Are there any insurance companies which provide relevant car insurance quotes for new drivers?
